He's home…

loving each other
with a new depth…
an intensity
born of near loss
I'm content.
I'd nearly forgotten how good it feels
to look into his eyes…
sparkling with playfulness,
darkened with passion…
just knowing he loves me.
I'm frightened.
There. I admitted it.
I'm afraid…
of how much I feel,
